MAHOGANY BURL COLDWEATHERFAN CORNHOLIO with BRASS BAND

Designed, built and dedicated to honor my friend John Libeau AKA ColdWeatherFan.

The ColdWeatherFan is a .010 single reed call that has a deeper tone with quality buzz and good hold for those squeaky notes.  Volume wise it can get loud when needed but will run with the softest air you can present into it.  The ColdWeatherFan has full tonal range from meaty hails to a sick, fast bottom.  To date the ColdWeatherFan has 8 World Calling Championships and 2 Grand National Working class callmaking championship wins under its belt.

The CORNHOLIO version has a tuning port in the insert to allow the operator to create a multitude of tones.  If you keep the port closed you have a ColdWeatherFan.  If you partially uncover the port and slightly cup your hand you will get a nasally tone.  If you fully uncover the port you'll get a nasally and wheezy tone with a higher pitch.  Playing around with different combinations allows a caller to achieve many different ducks all with one call.
